Tooth Powder Whitening

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Whitening Tooth Powder is recommended as a preventive oral care product, for preiodontosis and cavities prevention. It removes plaque from tooth surface, removes coffee, tea and tobacco stains. It has anti-inflammatory effect. It whitens and polishes teeth gently.

COMPOSITION

Whitening Tooth Powder: calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, mint oil, orange oil.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

Calcium carbonate is effective for reducing plaque accumulation, reducing the level of acid-building (cariogenic) bacteria, tooth remineralisation, reducing gingivitis and dentin hypersensitivity. Abrasive substances, based on natural calcium carbonate, provide for great teeth cleaning and removal of stains.

Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) neutralizes acids, which are built in the mouth due to vital activity of bacteria, leading to enamel destruction.

Mint oil is an extremely effective product against anaerobic bacteria, existing in the medium with low oxygen concentration (e.g. in mouth cavity) and which are able to cause gum diseases. Mint contains essential oil, flavonoids, tannins and bitter compounds. Peppermint oil is used in dental care as an excipient in tooth powders, pastes and mouthwashes.

Orange oil relieves inflammation and bleeding gums in case of periodontitis. It boosts body defences against infections, helps in case of chronic bronchitis.
