INDICATIONS FOR USE

Fiber: It is recommended as a dietary supplement, being an additional source of dietary fiber, silymarin. It provides for body conditioning, improvement of metabolic processes, improvement of the functional state of the liver and the bile ducts, elimination of toxins and wastes from the body, normalization of the digestive system function.

DESCRIPTION OF EXISTING SUBSTANCES

Milk thistle (silybum marianum) is a medicinal plant, which has been used for many years to treat liver diseases. Active ingredient of milk thistle is a rare biologically active substance – sylimarin; in addition, it contains such microelements as zinc, copper, selenium, the whole range of fat-soluble vitamins, quercetin, polyunsaturated fatty acids, some amino acids, flavonolignans etc., what predetermines its multiple applications. Silymarin has expressed hepatoprotective and regenerative effect on hepatic cells, provides antioxidative, detoxifying action (neutralizes toxins and poisons).

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Fiber: Adults take 1 tablespoon thrice a day 30 minutes before meals. Wash down with sufficient amount of water. It can be previously added to a glass of kefir, yoghurt, juice or any other liquid, let it draw for 3-5 minutes. Term of use is 1 month, further the term of use and the possibility of repeated use are to be agreed with a doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Fiber: Individual sensitivity, children under 12, pregnant and lactating women, gastric and duodenal ulcer in exacerbation phase.
