It is a source of polyunsaturated acids, Vitamins A and E, helps improving bonchopulmonary system functioning in case of seasonal diseases, normalizing lipid metabolism. It has mild laxative and antioxidative properties.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES
Cocoa Butter is a vegetable fat, which stays solid at the temperature up to 18°C. Cocoa butter contains great concentration of oleic, lauric and palmitic acids, triglycerides, tannins, minerals and vitamins. Due to its unique properties this natural product helps healing many diseases, is applied for treatment of cough, which accompanies diseases of the upper airways; dermatitises, exema, fungal skin diseases and other skin diseases; burns and mechanical skin damages (scratches, grazes, cuts), other skin defects (scars, post-acne marks, striae), biliary duct diseases. It allows eliminating cholesterol from the body, strengthening vascular walls and thus preventing development of atherosclerosis, infarction and other cardiovascular disorders. Regular cocoa butter intake is a great way to prevent gastric ulcers.
Vitamin A or retinol is one of the most essential and necessary for the human body fat-soluble vitamins; it is an antioxidant and is necessary to improve sight, skin, hair health. Vitamin A is necessary for normal immune system functioning and is an integral part of the process of fighting against infection.
