Gel-Balms Marsh-Cinquefoil with Chondroitin

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Gel-Balm Marsh-Cinquefoil with Chondroitin is recommended as an auxiliary remedy for inflammatory, degenerative and dystrophic diseases of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular apparatus – arthritides, arthrosises, radiculitis, ostheochondrosis, myositides etc. Active ingredients of the gel-balm have expressed anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect, promote restoration of cartilaginous and connective tissues, improve circulation, eliminate edemas and congestive phenomena in the area of inflamed joints.

COMPOSITION

Marsh cinquefoil extract, nettle extract, willow bark extract, lilac extract, horsetail extract, chondroitin sulfate, rosemary oil, excipients.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

Chondroitin sulfate – is a high-molecular weight polysaccharide, preventing bone tissue destruction, relieving pain syndrome in joints, activating connective and cartilaginous tissues regeneration. Chondroitin sulfate stimulates hyaluronic acid synthesis, provides analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, promotes active cartilaginous tissue regeneration.

Marsh cinquefoil is the most popular plant, used in folk medicine to treat musculoskeletal apparatus diseases. The plant contains a complex of biologically active components, which account for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, regenerating and antibacterial properties. If used regularly, marsh cinquefoil helps restoring connective tissue structure, increases its durability and elasticity, restores synovial fluid composition; it improves blood circulation in the area of inflamed joints.

Nettle is a source of such biologically active compounds as vitamins C, K, A, B1, B2, carotene, tannins, flavonoids, various acids – formic, parcoumaric, caffeic – iron, copper, manganese, chromium. Nettle roots contain stinol and glycosides. Such a rich complex of biologically active compounds accounts for anti-inflammatory, hemostatic and skin-irritating effect of the nettle.

White willow (Salix alba) has been used for joints diseases treatment in folk medicine from olden times. One of the first anti-inflammatory drug substances, which was used for treatment of rheumatism, was aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), which received its scientific name from willow, as salicylic acid derivatives were first synthesized from its bark.

Horsetail is a medicinal plant, rich in silicon in its easily digested form, what promotes activation of connective tissue regeneration.

Eucalyptus oil has pain-relieving and antiseptic effects. It is used to relieve muscular and joint pain, as well as for deformation and strains.

Rosemary oil relieves pain and inflammation.

APPLICATION

Apply small amount of the gel-balm twice a day, massage until complete absorption. Term of use is 3-4 weeks. If necessary, repeat in 1-1.5 months.
