Broncholytic Herbal Tea

INDICATIONS FOR USE

It is an additional source of biologically active substances of plant origin. It promotes general health improvement, improvement of bronchopulmonary system function during seasonal catarrhal diseases, relieving dry and productive cough. It has expectorative properties.

COMPOSITION

Linden leaves — 0.3 g, St.-John’s-Wort (hypericum) herb — 0.225 g, marjoram herb — 0.21 g, thyme herb — 0.15 g, Glycyrrhiza glabra roots — 0.12 g, coltsfoot leaves — 0.12 g, Althaea roots — 0.12 g, sage leaves — 0.105 g, elecampane (inula) roots — 0.105 g, elder flowers — 0.045 g.

DESCRIPTION OF EXISTING SUBSTANCES

Linden has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, diaphoretic, expectorative, diuretic, analgesic effect. It has moderate bactericidal and sedative action, as well as light choleretic and spasmolytic properties. Linden flowers are used for cough and bronchitis, cold, ARI, flu and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Put 1-2 bags in a pot and add a glass of boiling water, let it infuse for 10-15 minutes. Adults drink as tea thrice a day before meals. To improve the taste add some sugar or honey. Term of use – 3 weeks, repeat in a two weeks’ break if necessary.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Individual sensitivity to certain components, pregnancy and lactation, children under 12.
