Calamus oil has calming, anti-inflammatory, antioxidative, tonic and deodorizing effect. It is recommended for prevention of alopecia, inflammatory processes in oral cavity. It has calming effect on the central nervous system.

How to use essential oils:
Inhalations: add a blend of essential oils to a bowl. Place a towel over your head and shoulders and place your head over the bowel, inhale slowly and deeply, repeat 2-3 times.
Aromatherapy is the easiest way to use essential oils in your house. Using oil burner your can create pleasant atmosphere in any room. First place some warm water into a bowl and then add a few drops of essential oil thereto.
Rinsing: add essential oil in required dosage to a glass of boiled water. Rinse several times a day.
Compresses: place 200 ml of water previously brought to the required temperature to a bowl, add the required amount of oil. Soak a towel in this mixture and hold the towel to the skin for 5-10 min.
Face masks: place 10 g of the respective base oil into a small container which can be hermetically closed, add the required essential oils, follow prescribed doses carefully. Mix thoroughly – enriched oil is ready for use.
Aromatic baths: water temperature in the bath should be 35 to 38°С. You can previously dissolve required essential oil in 100 ml of milk, or 1 tablespoon of honey, the optimum duration of such procedure is 10-15 min.
In steam bath: add a few drops of essential oil to a bucket of water. Pour it into hot rocks.
Massage: apply 10 drops of base oil or cream to your palm. Add the required amount of essential oil. Rub the mixture between your palms and do the massage.
Calamus oil: oil burner: 3-5 drops per 15 sq.m, bath: 2-3 drops per 100 ml of base oil; enrichment of creams, masks, toners: 3 drops per 10 ml of the base.
Calamus oil: hypersensitivity to essential oils, children under 6, pregnancy. Seek aromatherapist’s advice before use.
