Birch extract is used for various fungal skin infections. It has healing and purifying effects. It tonifies and soothes skin at the same time, has expressed anti-inflammatory effect. It is used as an astringent agent. It has moisturizing and antioxidative properties. Birch extract is used as an excipient for treatment of dandruff, reduces hair greasiness, has seboregulating effect.
Birch Tar Shampoo: apply small amount of the shampoo to wet hair, lather and leave it in for several minutes, then rinse it out with plenty of water. Repeat the procedure if necessary. It is recommended to apply moisturizing balsam or conditioner to the hair. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a week for1-1.5 months.
