Milk thistle is a medicinal plant, used for treatment of liver diseases. Its main active ingredient is a rare biologically active substance – silymarin; in addition, it contains such microelements, as zinc, copper, selenium, the whole range of fat-soluble vitamins, quercetin, polyunsaturated fatty acids, some amino acids, flavonolignans – about 200 biochemical components in total, which determine multiple use of milk thistle. Silymarin has expressed hepatoprotective effect; it restores liver cells, provides antioxidative, detoxificative (neutralizing toxins and poisons) action, improves metabolic processes in the liver, increasing its tolerance to adverse factors, and accelerates liver cells regeneration after their damage, toxic effects and past infectious diseases.

Dogrose is a medicinal plant with conditioning, antimicrobial, choleretic, anti-inflammatory effects. Dogrose fruit are a multivitamin product with prevailing vitamin C (ascorbic acid), as well as vitamin P (rutin), B- complex vitamins, vitamin K, carotene, vitamin E content. In addition, the fruit contain a great amount of potassium salts, manganese, phosphor, calcium, magnesium. In line with their multivitamin content, dogrose fruit have choleretic, diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect; they improve gastrointestinal tract functioning. Vitamin C, contained therein, affects most of the oxidation-reduction reactions in the body.

Lecithin is a representative of phospholipids, which is one of the most important substances for the body. Lecithin is a basic chemical substance for interstitial space formation, normal nervous system functioning, normal functional activity of the brain cells; it is one of the basic liver materials. The body needs lecithin as a structural material for damaged cells regeneration. It is also a transport medium (carrier) for delivery of nutrients, vitamins and drugs to the cells. Lecithin stimulates bile secretion, improves bile composition, restores liver structure, normalizes lipid metabolism. It is recommended for prevention and treatment of gallstone disease, biliary dyskinesia, cirrhosis, hepatitis, ulcer disease.
