Macadamia oil is received from fruit (nuts) of various types of a small bushy tree, macadamia, of Australian origin. The plant is deemed sacred in its motherland and its fruit is recognized to be the “king of nut kingdom”, as the oil, extracted therefrom, has unique nourishing and cosmetic properties.
Macadamia oil has properties, equal to those of spermaceti, a wax-like substance, that are received from sea mammals. This product contains unsaturated fatty acids (palmitic, palmitoleic, oleic, stearic, linoleic), vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin E, proteins, minerals and other active compounds. Royal composition of the oil allows for its use for skin and hair care; it has light texture and is quickly absorbed, that is why it is called instantly disappearing oil. In case of penetration to the skin it acts as an antioxidant, preventing cell membranes destruction, regulates oil and water balance in tissues. This promotes improvement of skin elasticity, stiffness and elimination of wrinkles. Due to the fact Macadamia oil is extensively used in mixtures for corrective massage, in anti-cellulite procedures. When applied to the hair, it is perfectly distributed throughout its length, evens its structure and gives it strength and glow. For the millennium-long history of oil application not a single case of its intolerance and no side effects have been observed.
Indications for Use:

Method of Application: it can be used either in the pure form, or in composition of massage oils (in concentration up to 50%), or for cosmetic products enrichment (in concentration up to 15%).
For facial, neck and décolleté skin care: it is recommended for use in form of a mixture with other oils (jojoba, almond, grapeseed oil) in the ratio 1:1. The mixture is applied to clean skin daily in the evening and is left on until complete absorption. Application of towels, impregnated with Macadamia oil, on the face for 30 minutes is also allowed.
For dry and fading skin care: mix 1 teaspoon of Macadamia and Almond oils, add 2-4 drops of rose essential oil thereto. Massage small amount of the resulting mixture (a few drops) into the skin lightly.
For sunburns treatment: apply to the skin after sunbathing. Macadamia oil is ranked among the best for its ability to restore epidermal barrier. It stays in upper layer and plays the role of reliable protector from harmful environmental effects.
For elimination of cellulite manifestations it is recommended to prepare a mixture of 1 tablespoon of Macadamia and sesame oil, 10 drops of lemon, grapefruit, lavender and rosemary essential oils, 1 tablespoon of aloe juice (mashed leaves are allowed), 1 tablespoon of avocado or pumpkin flesh. Massage problem areas of Your body with resulting mixture daily.
For dry, damaged hair: there are several options for hair care. The first one: macadamia oil in the pure form or in combination with essential oils (5 drops per 10 ml) is applied to the comb and the hair is brushed 2-3 times a day. This procedure is very effective, if you go swimming to the beach or in the swimming pool; thus You protect Your hair from negative effect of environmental factors (wind, sun, chlorine). The second one: the oil is massaged to the hair and scalp and is left in for the night; the hair is washed with shampoo in the morning. Due to its good spreadability the oil covers Your hair and is distributed on the scalp evenly, giving hair its strength and glow.
For hand and feet skin nourishing: a cream, consisting of 1 tablespoon of glycerin, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 teaspoon of macadamia oil, 1 tablespoon of aloe juice and 10 drops of orange essential oil, is prepared. The resulting mixture is homogenized. It is applied to clean hand and feet skin.
For facial skin cleaning: wet a cotton wool pad in warm water and squeeze it out, apply a few drops of oil thereto and wipe the skin.
For baths: dissolve 1 tablespoon of Macadamia oil in emulsifier (honey, milk, cream) and add it to the bath. It is effective in case of migraines, musculoskeletal apparatus diseases.
Contraindications: individual sensitivity to Macadamia oil.
