Hawthorn is a plant, used in officinal and folk medicine both in Ukraine and other countries of the world. Its fruits contain organic acids, carbohydrates, sorbitol, pectic substances, ascorbic acid, beta-carotene, vitamin K, phenolic compounds, anthocyans, leukoanthocyans, catechins, phenolic acids, coumarines, sterines, triterpenic acids (ursolic, oleanolic). Biologically active substances in hawthorn improve coronary and cerebral circulation, increase sensitivity of myocardium to cardiac glycosides, enhance myocardial contractility and reduce its excitability slightly, provide sedative effect, normalize blood pressure. It is recommended for cardiovascular system functional disorders prevention and blood pressure normalization.

Ingredients: hawthorn flowers and berries – 300 mg, excipients.

Recommendations for use: Hawthorn dietary supplement may be used in diets, prescribed by a doctor, in case of cardiovascular diseases as an additional source of a complex of biologically active substances of plant origin.

It is recommended to follow balanced diet with reduced amount of animal fats, sweets, alcohol. Violation of doctor’s dietary recommendations influences the above effect.

Mode of Administration: adults – 1 pill/capsule thrice a day after meals.

Course of administration: up to 1 month. Further the duration of the course and the possibility of the repeated course are to be agreed with a doctor.
